Today I created a few designs for the main tower within my game. I attempted to incorporate some of the inspirations from my previous post into the designs I have came up with below.

Change of plans
Originally, my idea was to have the player start on the docks of an island, walk over to the Tower of Flints and the destroyed turrets around it (explorable to some extent) and be able to walk into the tower and out of it freely.
However, considering the deadline is rapidly approaching, things may need to be cut down in size. I feel as if I was a little bit too ambitious with this project. Not necessarily a bad thing, but detrimental for this project at least. For this reason, I need to change my plans.
For one, the only explorable area will likely just be the tower.
And maybe you won't even get a chance to go outside, but I am unsure of that yet. I would still like for there to be an outside.

Flask props
After my previous few updates about tables and flasks, I created some flasks within Maya to be used ontop of my tables and possibly shelves once created.

Table Props
Below I have constructed 2 table variations for use within my game.
The difference is small, the table legs are square in one and rounded in the other.

Island Map
My game takes place on an island, with an undocumented tower on it. Below you can find a quick map for the island in which the player will start on.

Castle-esque exterior inspirations
Considering how my exploration game is about exploring a medieval tower, I have looked through a few medias that have some medieval architecture in them. Such as castles, turrets, etc. Below I have shared a few I find particularly interesting.

Objects Quick Concept
As I was playing through Skyrim, I came across an alchemy table. The design of the table, namely the objects on it, I thought could be a good fit within my game. So I quickly googled an image for an alchemy set, and quickly drew the image below with it. The image in question, as well as the table, are also below for reference.

Collection of Concept art
Through the weeks, I have created 3 different pieces of concept art for my game, which I have named "Flint Tower". You can find all of them below.

Barrel Prop 2
Having the same barrel appear over and over again would most likely make my game world look samey and mundane, however there's only so much you can do with a castle-esque setting, so I came up with simply creating a secondary barrel prop by altering the first one. You can see them both side by side below.
It's simple, but I feel like it'll be effective having a taller barrel model to choose from to add a bit of variety.

Quick Idea for getting around the map
Late last night I was watching a video of a game called "Cloud Climber" and some of the visual elements and level design inspired me, so very quickly I threw a rushed drawing together of a potential way the player could navigate through the several different towers within the game world.
Essentially, the player would not have been the first person to visit this remote island with this structure on, and so there would most likely be things left behind from previous visits. I propose that one of these be different ways of getting around, such as a makeshift "bridge" from a plank of wood. Or perhaps ladders. If I were to incorporate this into my game, I would need code to climb, and also prevent the player from falling off and having to go all the way back up.

Barrel Prop
I need game props to make my world and my playspace look and feel like an actual world, rather than just a series of empty rooms.
Below, you can find the current progress of my barrel prop.
The barrel on the right was an attempt I was not happy with. So I created the barrel on the left which became the centre barrel.

Influence map Practice
To further help map out my inspirations and influences, I have practiced with using an "Influence map". For the examples below, I used Art Nouveau and Megalithic Structures.
