I've started making my way through the left side of swords on the concept art.
Using the concept art as a reference, I have began working on the swords to the right.
And since I already have the majority of it done, I just needed to add the viney parts, and alter the blade for the last one.
Caitlin provided me with this concept art for swords:
I have decided to start with the center sword as I can use it's handle, pommel and guard for the two on the right, which will save time.
I started with the general shape of the handle.
Then, I added details to the pommel.
Afterwards, I worked on the handguard.Finally, the blade of the sword.I have joined a team with 5 other members of my university's game design course to create our project for Year 3.
It will be a Fantasy Action-Adventure game with RPG elements and slightly open world, similar to that of the Dark Souls series.
My role will be modelling and texturing. I have been assigned to create weapons for the game.
Caitlin will be providing concept art for me to use to create these weapons.
